At BudgetBee, we take your financial privacy seriously. This policy outlines how we handle data within the BudgetBee Expense Tracker application. We are committed to ensuring that your personal and financial information is processed securely and transparently.
Data Collection & Usage
Financial Information
BudgetBee processes data you explicitly enter — expenses, income categories, transaction amounts, and budget limits — solely to provide financial tracking and analytics features.
Account Data
The application uses Google Firebase for authentication. We collect your email address and a unique UID to manage your account and synchronize data across devices.
Third-Party Services
We use Google Firebase as our primary data processor for:
- Cloud Firestore: To store and sync your financial records securely.
- Firebase Authentication: To manage secure user sign-in.
- Firebase Analytics: To monitor performance and improve user experience (anonymized).
Data Security
All data transmitted between the application and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS). Financial records are stored in Firebase's secure cloud infrastructure with advanced encryption at rest and rigorous access controls.
Data Deletion & Rights
You maintain full control over your data. In compliance with Play Store requirements, we provide a clear path for data removal:
How to delete your account:
- Open the Settings page within the BudgetBee app.
- Navigate to the Account section.
- Select Delete Account & Data.
- Confirm the action. This will permanently wipe all financial records, transaction history, and your authentication profile from our servers.
